Caring for your aura can become a part of daily life—even when time is limited. You may wish to make lasting changes to your aura layers over weeks or months. Perhaps you want to overcome a negative mood triggered by a specific event or person. Perhaps you want to modify or bring a particular personality trait more to the forefront. Alternatively, you may want to address a health issue related to one of the aura bands.
Working regularly with your aura heals both physical health and emotional issues, and prevents physical and emotional problems from recurring as easily in the future.

Creating Your Rainbow Charisma Aura
Work in sunlight, moonlight, or by the light of a pure white candle. Raise your arms and arch them over your head so your hands curve inward over the center of your head like a cup—but do not allow your hands to touch your hair (keep them one arm’s length away from your hair).
Now stretch your arms and point your fingers toward the sky, both hands together with palms facing outward. Silently or aloud, ask that God/Goddess, the archangels Gabriel or Raphael (both angels of healing), or your own special guardian angel, fill you with light, and that only goodness and healing enter you. You may also request any special healing you need.
Imagine a radiant light, transmitted as pure gold and white rays through your fingertips and hands, spiraling through the aura surrounding your body. You may notice tingling and golden sparks around your hands.
Keep your hands in position until you can feel your entire aura vibrating with power and radiance.
Now create a cup again with your hands over your head. Working one arm’s length from the top of your head, allow your palms to face inward, fingers together and curved to move in harmony inward until they reach the sparks shining along the outermost edge of the aura above your head—still as white and gold.
Your hands will separate as they move downward, still one arm’s length from your body, tracing the outer edge of the aura.
As your hands slowly move downward, you will gradually feel the light spreading into violet, indigo, blue, green, yellow, orange, and red, permeating each layer of the aura down to the innermost red layer just around the body.
When you reach your feet, cup your hands again to synthesize the aura colors once more as white and gold light.
Move your hands up both sides of your body back to the original arched position above your head.
The cup of white and gold light at your feet will add extra brightness and radiance to your aura.
Repeat the entire exercise, from the beginning, six more times—always working from the outermost aura layer and allowing the energies to penetrate the seven layers.
Your fingers will tingle and shine. When you complete the seven movements, you will feel or see your rainbow become even brighter and clearer as it encloses you in an ellipse extending before and behind you. You are enclosed in a rainbow bubble, flowing like warm liquid and spilling beyond you into the cosmos.
Finally, shake your fingers at arm’s length above your head, and the residual white and gold energy sparks will cascade around you like a waterfall, making you feel protected yet open to new experiences.
When finished, dip your hands in water in which amethyst and clear quartz crystal have soaked for eight hours. Dry them with a soft towel.
Thank your guides and angels, then go and amaze the world.
Three Very Quick Ways to Keep Your Aura Bright and Healthy
Using Water
If you need energy, dip your hands in a bowl of cold water in which you have soaked a clear quartz crystal for eight hours; or, if you feel unbalanced or restless, use an amethyst.
Sprinkle the water drops over your hair and into the air around the outer edge of the aura surrounding your entire body, working at arm’s length around your head and body.
Continue dipping and sprinkling until you feel renewed.
Finally, sprinkle a little in front of your feet.
To address different needs, refer to information on how to make crystal waters to strengthen different aura layers.
Using Crystals
For quick aura repair, use a long, pointed, clear quartz crystal or a crystal wand. Hold it pointing outward with your dominant hand and spiral the crystal, starting one arm’s length above your head and moving it inward and outward in alternating clockwise and counter-clockwise spirals until it almost touches the top of your hair.
Swing the crystal increasingly faster around your head and shoulders, at arm’s length above your head, for two to three minutes, then down the left side of your body—still at arm’s length—moving the crystal in and out of your aura field, down in front of your feet, then up the right side to finish above the head.
When you cannot move the crystal any faster, repeat the movements, increasingly slowly, until you hold the crystal point above your head.
Then hold it, pointing inward, in front of your forehead, then your throat, and then your heart, saying:
- Above me the light (above the head)
- Within me the radiance (forehead)
- So that I may be filled (throat)
- With love in my heart (heart)
Consult the lists in previous chapters to find the appropriate crystal. If you cannot obtain a pointed crystal, use an elongated tumbled stone.
Using Fragrance
Use tiny sage smudge sticks a few inches (several cm) long, or a regular stick of lavender, rose, rosemary, sage, or sandalwood incense.
Choose the appropriate fragrance for any aura level needing special attention.
Light the mini-smudge or incense stick and blow the smoke in alternating clockwise and counter-clockwise circles at arm’s length from your body—above your head and around your feet—until you feel the energies shift.
Work outdoors or in a well-ventilated room. Afterwards, leave the smoke source to burn outdoors.
Removing Contamination
If the atmosphere of your home or workplace has been toxic, you can remove contamination from your aura by breathing in light and exhaling darkness. This method will work if you wish to change a mood, if you know a situation brings out a negative aspect of your personality, or if you wish to cleanse part or all of your aura.
Take a deep breath in through your nose slowly (one… two… three), hold your breath again while counting slowly to three. Exhale slowly through your mouth with a sigh to the same count. If in public, do this subtly.
There are many breathing count patterns, so experiment and use the method you feel most comfortable with.
Do this five or six times.
Visualize the air you are inhaling as pure white or golden light. Exhale slowly, seeing black mist being expelled, leaving your body. You become lighter and more harmonious.
Slow your breathing further, letting the golden or white light spread throughout your entire aura (one… two… three… four), holding your breath, and exhaling again (one… two… three… four).
Repeat the pattern, each time visualizing dark mist leaving your body, paling as negativity is expelled, until your exhalation feels quite clear. Your aura is now cleansed.
You can adapt this method using the antidote colors below. Use your exhaled breath, as before, to banish negativity, and your inhaled color to introduce calm or energy, according to your needs. Warmer colors—red, yellow, and orange—are stimulating, and blue, green, and purple—the cooler colors—calm and gently uplift.

Aura Antidote Colors
| Aura Layer | Corresponding Chakra | Color | Antidote |
| First Layer | Root Chakra | Red | Blue |
| Second Layer | Sacral Chakra | Orange | Indigo |
| Third Layer | Solar Plexus Chakra | Yellow | Violet |
| Fourth Layer | Heart Chakra | Green | Orange or Blue |
| Fifth Layer | Throat Chakra | Blue | Red |
| Sixth Layer | Brow Chakra | Indigo | Orange |
| Seventh Layer | Crown Chakra | Violet | Yellow |
Antidotes for Other Colors in the Aura
| Color | Antidote |
| Black | White |
| Brown | Yellow or Blue |
| Gold | Silver |
| Gray | White |
| Magenta | Bright Blue |
| Pink | Deep Sky Blue or Darker Blue |
| Silver | Gold |

| White | Silver or a contrasting shade of white (milky for harshness, bright white for pale) |
Creating Antidote Remedies
Antidote colors—as softer or brighter shades of a problematic aura color—can be added through crystals, flowers, or foods, by lighting candles of appropriate colors, wearing appropriately colored clothing, or visualizing the needed counterbalancing color or shade.
If a suitable color is not available, light a white candle. Imagine the color you need emerging from the candle as a beam of light.
Using Antidote Crystals
Worn as jewelry, crystals can treat a chronic condition associated with an aura level or modify a recurring mood or undesirable personality trait.
Crystals for each aura layer can be selected (use one for each aura layer if the complete aura is unbalanced), placed on dishes around the home or workplace, and soaked in water. That water can be drunk, used in baths, or sprinkled on the aura when feeling stressed.
Alternatively, inhale the antidote color by holding the crystal with open hands near your mouth while gently inhaling and exhaling, absorbing the crystal’s powers.
Using Fragrances
Aromatic herbs and flowers—whether used as incense, as oils in a burner or diffuser, as scented candles, or best of all, as candles in their natural form—contain life force to heal and strengthen different aura layers.
Inhale the associated aura colors within the fragrance and you inhale their strengths. A fragrant garden in sunlight or moonlight is a great aura restorer. Or use herb pots in your kitchen.
Add oils or perfumed products to your bath or as fragrance or oils applied to pulse points. Mix two or three in a burner or light different scented candles to work with more than one layer.
Which Color to Use
If you have a physical ailment, the lists in previous chapters specify which areas of the body or mind need additional attention, so you can send healing or strength to that particular aura area.
Alternatively, if you feel unwell, exhale the mood aura color causing the problem and breathe in a softer shade. Or breathe in a brighter shade of the problem color if it is very faded or has holes.
Even more powerful: since each color has an antidote that balances it, you can use softer shades of the antidote to address an overly harsh color, and more vibrant shades of the antidote for faded aura layers or holes. Try both methods and see which works best for you.
If you have a mirror or reflective surface, make an instant assessment of—first, the mood aura, then the personality aura, and finally the seven color bands. With practice, you won’t even need to do this; you will know which aura band needs fixing.
Daily Color Breathing
Breathe color while waiting in a supermarket queue or at a train station. This is an excellent, quick way to balance your aura if you feel tense or have faced many difficult people or situations.
Inhale and exhale while visualizing the breath in different colors. This is also a morning means to boost your aura if you slept poorly or have a difficult day ahead. You can also end the day this way, so you relax into peaceful sleep.
Remove general aura negativity by exhaling it as dark, dull, or murky colors. Then balance your aura by introducing clearer, brighter shades on the inhalation. To cleanse and energize the overall aura, visualize inhaling white or golden light and exhaling dark or gray light.
Filling Your Aura with Light, Power, and Harmony
Once a month or before special occasions, such as an interview or a special date, fill your aura with the light, radiance, and power of the cosmos so you spontaneously attract good situations, opportunities, and people. The following technique, practiced regularly, helps alleviate chronic conditions and pain or discomfort whose cause is unknown.
Regularly tending your aura is like providing daily nourishment for your body. It is not an optional spiritual pastime but essential homework for maintaining physical and mental health. When you learn to nourish yourself with light, color, and energy, you will discover that once-troubling emotional fluctuations, interpersonal friction, and physical discomforts quietly dissolve without you even noticing.
You are not just one body, you are a being made of light. Let that light shine continuously.
