If time is linear, with the past already written and the future yet to arrive, why do some people feel an inexplicable familiarity with places they have never been? Why do certain fears seem innate, with no identifiable origin in this lifetime? These questions point to a deeper possibility, that we carry memories far more ancient than this single existence.

The Illusion of Time: A Non-Linear Reality

Our understanding of time is largely constrained by everyday experience. We are accustomed to viewing time as a straight line, flowing from the past, through the present, and into the future. However, on a deeper level of reality, time does not operate this way.

Einstein’s theory of relativity revealed the inseparable nature of time and space, weaving them into a four-dimensional “space-time continuum.” In this model, all events—past and future—exist simultaneously in the present, intertwined within a multidimensional reality. Physicist Itzhak Bentov noted that linear time is merely a product of perception within a specific dimension, an imaginative structure we created for convenience.

This suggests that so-called past lives are not history that has vanished, but rather alternative realities coexisting with our present one. When we expand our consciousness and move beyond the limitations of linear thinking, we can access these parallel life experiences.

Imprints of Past Life Trauma: The Memory of the Energy Field

If past lives are real, how do they leave marks on our present existence? The answer lies within the energy field, or aura. Every life experience, whether joyful or traumatic, leaves specific energetic imprints on different layers of the aura. These imprints constitute what we call “karma”—not a punishment, but life experiences created by our belief systems, following us from one lifetime to the next until they are cleared or brought into harmony with a higher reality.

In the lower four layers of the aura (the etheric, emotional, mental, and astral bodies), past life trauma manifests as common energetic blockages. These can stack layer upon layer—after clearing a trauma from this life, the next (from a past life) may surface, awaiting its turn for healing.

In the fifth layer (the etheric template layer), past life trauma presents as structural issues. This layer holds the template for all physical forms, so distortions here often lead to congenital physical problems, such as scoliosis or organ malformations.

In the seventh layer (the causal template layer), past life trauma exists in its most discernible form. This layer acts as the aura’s “egg shell.” On its outer edge, one can see colored light bands completely surrounding the aura, called “past life bands.” A band located near the head or neck typically represents the past life most crucial to address in the current incarnation.

The Layering of Trauma: Tracing Back from the Present to the Source

In healing practice, the author observed a compelling phenomenon: the same area of the body often holds multiple traumas stacked from different eras.

Take the solar plexus region, for example. On the surface, there might be a trauma from this lifetime—perhaps a childhood experience of rejection. Once cleared, the next layer might reveal another wound from adolescence. Digging deeper could uncover a battle wound from a past life, and beneath that, an even older experience of betrayal.

This layered structure means that true healing cannot stop at the surface. It requires a deep “archaeological dig,” tracing back layer by layer until the original source is found. Only by reaching that root cause can the entire chain of trauma be completely dissolved.

The Right Time for Healing: When to Uncover Past Life Memories

Approaching past life trauma requires extremely careful judgment. Timing is critical—revealing past life memories at the wrong moment can cause more harm than the trauma itself.

If a person has not yet built sufficient inner strength and a stable personality structure in this life, premature exposure to past life trauma might cause them to become lost in it. They might use past life experiences to escape current life issues that need resolution, or they might be burdened by immense guilt from violence committed in a past life that they cannot cope with.

Therefore, the appropriate time for past life healing is usually after significant clearing work in the present life has been completed. When an individual’s current life is reasonably in order, and their inner self is strong enough to face deeper truths, past life memories will naturally surface for healing.

The Healing Process: Seeing, Releasing, Integrating

When a client is ready to face past life trauma, the healer guides them through a three-stage process.

Seeing: The healer places their hands on the area of trauma, allowing energy to flow in, and guides the client to open their memory and return to the time the trauma first occurred. As the client journeys back, they may vividly relive that past life—experiencing it with all the accompanying emotions as if living it again—or they may simply observe the experience as a witness. Regardless of the method, the key is that the trapped energy begins to loosen.

Releasing: After the client has fully experienced the trauma, the healer asks, “Are you ready to let this trauma go?” If the answer is yes, the healer proceeds to remove the traumatic energy from the aura. This process isn’t difficult because the experience itself has already dislodged the trauma from the energy field.

Integrating: Removing the trauma leaves a void in the energy field. The healer must fill this space with unconditional love—often visualized as rose-pink light. This light flows through the heart chakra, infusing love and compassion into the area once occupied by trauma.

If the client expresses an “unwillingness” to let the trauma go, it indicates that deeper lessons need attention. The healer may then increase the intensity and frequency of the energy, guiding the client to experience other facets of the trauma until the entire block is cleared.

Structural Repair: Rebuilding at the Template Level

For past life trauma that has already caused physical structural problems, simple release is insufficient. Repair is needed at the higher levels of the energy field.

Consider the example of John, a young man born with scoliosis and a severely damaged solar plexus chakra. During a healing session, the author “saw” a past life vision: he was a warrior who, in the act of killing an enemy, was himself fatally pierced in the solar plexus by a spear. This experience left him with a subconscious belief that any strong expression of life force leads to death. Therefore, in this life, he suppressed his own energy, resulting in the damaged chakra and physical deformity.

Healing such trauma requires delicate structural repair within the fifth and seventh layers. First, stagnant energy around the wound is cleared, often using visualized crystal energy. Then, within the fifth layer, the embedded spear is carefully extracted and the wound cleansed. Next, the golden grid structure of the chakra is reconstructed in the seventh layer—meticulously re-weaving the chakra’s vortex with ultra-fine threads of golden light, pushing distorted parts back into place, sealing tears, and rebuilding the protective membrane.

This process demands that the healer raise their consciousness to a very high state, allowing their guides to work through their hands. Once the chakra is rebuilt, the main energy channel must be reconnected to it, ensuring the entire energetic system returns to normal function.

The Power of Transformation: From Trauma to Freedom

When deeply buried past life trauma is cleared, the client’s transformation is often profound and lasting. After completing five healing sessions, John not only felt freer movement in the affected area and reduced strain on his back muscles (which had compensated for the imbalance), but more importantly, he experienced greater freedom in his personal life. He was no longer controlled by unconscious fears and could express his vitality more authentically.

This is the true meaning of past life healing. It is not about escaping the present life, but about retrieving fragments of energy trapped in the past and bringing them into the now. This allows us to live our current life’s purpose more fully and powerfully. Each cleared trauma is a step towards liberation.

When we are willing to face the wounds buried deep in time, we can come to understand that all the trauma we have experienced can ultimately become a staircase to freedom.
